Wet and cloudy Monday in store for Mayo

Monday will bring mostly cloudy conditions to Mayo, with patchy light rain or drizzle in places through the morning.

Highest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees, with light to moderate north to northwest breezes.

Tonight will be largely dry with variable cloud and clear spells at first.

Cloud will increase from the northwest overnight, with patchy rain and drizzle reaching northwestern parts by morning.

Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees in light to moderate westerly winds.

Looking ahead, Tuesday will see cloud and patchy rain and drizzle continue to extend southeastwards through the morning, before brighter and breezier conditions with scattered showers follow from the northwest.

Conditions are set to turn more changeable and unsettled from midweek, with a mix of sunshine and blustery showers.

It will remain cool for the time of year.
