Mayo FC announce first ever signing for men’s senior team
Mayo FC have announced that Ben Edeh is the club’s first ever signing for their senior men’s team.
Ben joins Mayo FC from Ballyheane, where he was a prolific goal-scorer.
Ben Edeh was the Mayo Super League Golden Boot winner for the 2021 season, and he played a crucial role in Ballyheane’s back-to-back Super League title winning seasons of 2021 and 2022.
He helped guide Ballyheane to the Under-21 Division One title in 2022 by scoring two late goals in a 3-1 over Conn Rangers in the final – and was also named the Man of the Match.
Edeh has also previous League of Ireland experience with the Sligo Rovers under-19 team and has represented the Mayo Football League team at Oscar Traynor Cup level, helping the green and red reach the Oscar Traynor Cup final in 2024.
The Mayo FC men’s team will commence their FAI National League season in September.
