Mayo golf club lady captain's charity day raises €6,000

AN amazing day was enjoyed by a large number of ladies and men for lady captain Helen Heneghan's charity day at Castlebar Golf Club.

Helen's chosen charities were the Alzheminer's Day Centre in Castlebar and St. Anthony's Special School in Castlebar, raising €6,000 - an amazing achievement.

The day was wonderful, with plenty of sunshine - perfect for all the golfers.
