Witness appeal following public order incident in Mayo town

GARDAÍ are appealing for witnesses following a public order incident that occurred in the Dalton Street area of Claremorris on Sunday, April 26.

At around 12.30 a.m., an incident occurred at a premises on Dalton Street involving a physical altercation between a number of males.

There was a further altercation on Dalton Street at around 12.50 a.m.

One male was brought to Mayo University Hospital for treatment of serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Two other males were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact them.

Anyone who was in the area between 11 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, and 1 a.m. on Sunday, April 26, and who may have any information about the incident is asked to contact investigating gardaí.

Anyone with camera footage (including mobile phone and dash-cam footage) is asked to make it available.
