Fond tributes to retired Mayo courts official Pauline O'Grady on her passing
The death of Pauline O' Grady (née O'Malley), Altóir, Louisburgh, and formerly of the Irish Courts Service, Castlebar, has evoked a great sense of loss in the community.
Predeceased by her loving husband Patrick, she is sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters Claire, Marie, Niamh and Patricia, son Paul, brothers and sister Eamon, Philomena, John F, Michael Joe, Vincent and Noel, sons-in-law Keith and Shaun, daughter-in-law Donna, Patricia's partner Aaron, grandchildren Daragh, Emma, Aaron, Shay, Seanie, Keelan, Claire's stepdaughter Sarah-Jane, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended O'Grady and O'Malley families, former work colleagues and a wide circle of friends.
Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their loss.
Warm tributes are being paid to Pauline on social media.
Retired Judge Patrick Durcan stated: "It was a great pleasure to work with her in the courts system.
"Her intelligence and sense of organisation were matched by her kindness to individuals dealing with a sometimes complex system - a true lady."
"A beautiful lady in every way," another said.
A further tribute observed: "I had the pleasure of working with Pauline during my time in the Castlebar Court Office. She was an incredible lady and a truly amazing friend."
Pauline will rest in repose at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Louisburgh, this evening (Tuesday) from 4 p.m., concluding at 7 p.m. with Vigil Prayers.
Funeral arriving to the Church of the Holy Family, Killeen, on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. for Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.
