Wednesday will bring a mix of cloud and sunny spells across Mayo, with scattered showers possible, particularly in the north of the county.
It will remain largely dry for much of the day.
Highest temperatures of 13 to 15 degrees in mostly moderate, occasionally fresh, southwest winds, easing light to moderate and backing southerly through the afternoon.
Wednesday night will turn cloudier as outbreaks of rain and drizzle become more widespread.
Some hill and coastal mist and fog is likely.

Looking ahead, Thursday will be mostly cloudy with showers or longer spells of rain at times, some heavy, especially to the west and northwest of the county.

Friday will bring a continuation of mostly cloudy conditions with showery outbreaks, some heavy in the west.
The weekend looks more promising, with drier and sunnier conditions likely as high pressure builds, and temperatures climbing to 15 to 20 degrees by Saturday.
