Tommy Marren launching Clew Bay Garden Trail at Mayo museum
GARDENING enthusiasts from across Mayo are invited to attend the official launch of this year’s Clew Bay Garden Trail, taking place on Saturday, May 23, at 11 a.m. in the beautiful surroundings of the National Museum of Ireland - Turlough Park.
Midwest Radio presenter Tommy Marren will officially launch the 2026 garden trail, offering attendees a preview of some of the stunning gardens featured this year.
All are warmly welcome to join the event and learn more about the unique gardens and the passionate gardeners behind them.
The Clew Bay Garden Trail is an annual initiative organised by a dedicated group of volunteer gardeners in the west Mayo area. Running throughout June and July, the trail offers a rare opportunity for both visitors and locals to explore a diverse collection of gardens - many of which are private and not ordinarily open to the public.
Visitors can enjoy a rich variety of styles, planting schemes and garden designs, while also gaining valuable insights directly from the gardeners themselves.
The trail fosters a spirit of community and shared learning, bringing together people with a love of gardening and the outdoors.
The launch event on Saturday is free to attend, with no booking required. Light refreshments will be provided.
