Girls Aloud star Nicola Roberts has announced the arrival of her first child with footballer Mitch Hahn, saying it is “heaven on earth” with her baby girl.

The 40-year-old singer revealed on Christmas Day last year that she was five months pregnant.

On Sunday, she shared a series of photos with the newborn in a celebratory post on Instagram, including one comparing the sizes of their hands.

In the caption, Roberts said: “Beautiful baby girl is here.

“We haven’t stopped staring at her perfect little face or kissing her softest little head.

“She arrived healthy and content a couple of weeks ago at 38 weeks weighing 6.5lbs and is thriving.

“It’s heaven on earth with her and we can hardly believe she’s ours.”

Roberts rose to fame as a member of girl group Girls Aloud, which was formed in 2002 on ITV show Popstars: The Rivals.

The group had four number one singles in the UK with Sound Of The Underground, I’ll Stand By You, Walk This Way featuring the Sugababes, and The Promise.

In 2024, Girls Aloud reunited for a UK and Ireland arena tour that celebrated their legacy and paid tribute to their late bandmate Sarah Harding, who died from breast cancer aged 39 in 2021.
