Plants stolen from Mayo flower boxes

PEOPLE stealing plants from flower boxes have been called out by Castlebar Councillor Donna Sheridan.

Flowers have been removed from boxes at a few locations in Castlebar, including the town park, she told the monthly municipal district meeting.

It's terrible to see people doing this, commented Councillor Sheridan.

Great work is being done by voluntary groups, and then the flowers are being stolen.
