Rosalia has been forced to postpone three concerts after facing a “family emergency”.
The Spanish singer is currently undertaking her Lux Tour and had been due to perform in Florida this week.
However, all three of her shows have now been called off.
In a post shared on X, Miami’s Kaseya Centre announced that Rosalia’s upcoming performances had been postponed.
“Due to a family emergency, Rosalía has to postpone her upcoming shows in Miami on June 4 and 6,” the venue said in a statement.
“She is sorry to disappoint her fans, but the circumstances have left her with no other choice.”
The singer, 33, had been due to kick off the US leg of her tour with a show in Miami on Thursday night, with another set for Saturday.
She was also due to play at Orlando’s Kia Centre on Monday.
However, that venue has also confirmed that show has also been postponed.
Fans are being asked to hold onto their tickets while organisers work to reschedule the affected tour dates.
“As the tour explores rescheduling, please hold onto your ticket. We will provide more information soon. Thank you for your patience,” the statement issued by Live Nation and the venues read.
The Lux tour is Rosalia’s fourth concert tour and supports her fourth studio album of the same name, which was released in November last year.
The global tour began in Lyon, France, on March 16th, and is currently set to end in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on September 3rd.
The postponed shows are not the only setbacks this tour has faced, with Rosalia forced to end a sold-out show in Milan in March after being struck down with what she called “big-time food poisoning”.
While on stage, the singer told the crowd of nearly 11,000 fans that she’d thrown up backstage before the concert and eventually had to cut the show short after about 45 minutes.
“I tried to do this show – since the beginning, I have been sick. I have had big-time food poisoning, and I have tried to push it till the end, but I am feeling extremely sick,” she said in fan videos shared to social media at the time.
“I am puking out there, and I really want to give the best show.
“And I am, like, on the floor, doing my best. I might try to keep going, but maybe at some point I have to stop. I am extremely sick.”
Rosalia went on to tell the crowd she was “really trying” and wanted to “push as much as I can”.
She added: “But we might have to stop if I physically cannot keep going. I am in pain.”
Rosalia’s representatives have been contacted for comment.
