Cardiac patients in Mayo invited to peer support group meeting

RECOVERING from a cardiac event? You don’t have to do it alone.

Join the Mayo Peer Support Group, an initiative led by Croí in collaboration with HSE Cardiology and Heart Failure Services in Mayo University Hospital, the Cardiology Integrated Care Service in Mayo Integrated Care Hub for Chronic Disease, and Self-Management Support in the Health & Wellbeing Division, Mayo.

This supportive group offers a safe space to connect with others who understand, share experiences and support one another, learn practical ways to live well with your diagnosis and hear from expert guest speakers on heart health topics.

The next meeting takes place on Wednesday, June 17, in The Ellison Hotel, Castlebar, from 6.30 to 8.30 p.m., with a dietician as guest speaker.
