Mayo filling station opens to warm welcome

A new filling station has opened in Foxford, with Fine Gael councillor Neil Cruise among the first to offer his congratulations to the business.

Sweeney Oil opened its doors at 9 a.m., with Cruise taking to social media to welcome the development and praise those behind it.

"Wishing Sweeney Oil many successful years here in Foxford," Cruise said, sending his best wishes to Ronan and the Sweeney Oil team.

He also praised CGQ Construction for their work on the project.
