Fixture details confirmed for Mayo's meeting with Meath
The GAA has confirmed details of Mayo's meeting with Meath in Round 3 of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
The game will be played next Saturday (June 20) at 6.15 p.m. in Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar. For those unable to be there in person, there will be live coverage on GAA+.
As there must be a winner on the day, there will be extra time and penalties if necessary.
Mayo were left with a Round 3 fixture following defeat to Tyrone yesterday (Sunday) in Round 2A. Meath, meanwhile, were victors in their Round 2B encounter against Derry last Saturday evening, earning them another crack at reaching the All-Ireland quarterfinals via the Round 3 path.
One more Round 3 fixture will be played on Saturday as Kerry host Armagh in Fitzgerald Stadium (4 p.m.), a game that will also be shown on GAA+.
The remaining two Round 3 games will be held on Sunday (June 21) as Dublin play Donegal in Croke Park at 1.15 p.m. (live coverage on RTÉ) and Monaghan take on Westmeath in Clones at (4 p.m. (live coverage on GAA+).
Meanwhile, the two Tailteann Cup semi-finals will be played on Saturday, both in Croke Park. The Down v Fermanagh game throws in at 3 p.m., while the start time for the Wicklow and Offaly clash is 5 p.m.
The weekend's inter-county action will be completed by two All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship quarterfinals, both in FBD Semple Stadium, Thurles. Clare face Dublin on Saturday evening at 7 p.m. while Cork clash with Offaly on Sunday at 3.30 p.m.
