Mayo to host Meath in All-Ireland championship
Mayo will host Meath next weekend in Round 3 of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
The draw was made today on RTÉ Radio 1 as part of the Morning Ireland programme.
The date, time and venue for the Mayo v Meath clash will be confirmed later today.
It will be staged at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park, Castlebar.
Mayo entered the draw as Round 2A losers alongside Armagh, Westmeath and Donegal.
The potential opposition were Round 2B winners – Monaghan, Kerry, Meath and Dublin. Mayo could not face Monaghan as they had already played them in the series.
The fixtures are as follows (first named team at home): Monaghan v Westmeath, Dublin v Donegal, Mayo v Meath, Kerry v Armagh.
