Scorcher on the way for Mayo on Tuesday

Tuesday will be mostly dry across Mayo, with long spells of sunshine for most of the day.

It will turn cloudier at times in western parts, with isolated light showers and sea fog possible along parts of the coast.

Highest temperatures of 22 to 27 degrees generally, in mostly light westerly or variable breezes. It will be a little cooler in western parts, with highs of 18 to 22 degrees, coolest near the coast.

Dry and mostly clear at first, before cloud builds from the west, with a few spots of light rain or drizzle possible in the northwest.

Some southern and eastern areas will stay clear.

Temperatures will not fall below 13 to 18 degrees, in light northerly or variable breezes, with some fog patches developing.
