Gardaí in Mayo issue alert over 'alleged bogus traders'

Gardaí in Mayo have become aware of a number of reports of alleged bogus traders operating on residential properties in the Ballina area.

A spokesperson elaborated: "We are advising members of the public to always exercise caution when liaising with cold callers to their home offering professional trade services.

"Should you have any concerns or suspect that bogus callers or tradespeople are in your area, please contact us here in Ballina Garda Station on 096-20560, or alternatively contact your local garda station."
