Rain moving in across Mayo on Monday

Southwest winds will gradually ease through the evening and into the night.
Tonight will bring a mix of clear spells and isolated showers, mainly affecting the west of the county. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees are expected, with light to moderate southwest breezes.

Monday will start mainly dry with bright or sunny spells across Mayo.
Cloud will build from the west through the morning, and outbreaks of rain will develop in the west during the afternoon, spreading eastwards to all areas by evening.
Highest temperatures on Monday will reach 16 to 19 degrees, with light to moderate south to southwest winds, freshening in the evening.
Rain will extend across the country on Monday night, with lowest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.
Tuesday will start cloudy with rain in most areas, clearing eastwards by noon to leave sunshine and showers for the rest of the day.
Highest temperatures of 16 to 21 degrees are expected.
Drier, brighter conditions are expected to take hold towards the weekend, with temperatures gradually rising.
