Green light for afterschool in former Mayo pub premises

A FORMER pub in Kiltimagh is to be turned into an afterschool.

The premises is on Thomas Street, with planning permission being granted by Mayo County Council to P.J. Staide for the change of use to provide the new service.

It will cater for 50 children, with between five and six staff members.

Documentation submitted to planners sets out how staff will be able to use a proposed car park at the rear of the afterschool.

A map also indicates a proposed traffic management flow for the collection of children from the rear of the property.
