Mayo will enjoy a very warm, largely dry weekend, with high pollen levels and a high UV index in force for Friday and Saturday.

Mostly dry with clear spells, though a few showers may develop.

Lowest temperatures of 11 to 15 degrees, in light to moderate northerly breezes.

SATURDAY, JULY 11

Dry and sunny for most, with just the odd shower possible.

Highest temperatures of 16 degrees in the northwest to the low 20s further east.

Northerly winds will be mostly light to moderate, fresher at times near the coast.

SATURDAY NIGHT

Dry with long clear spells for most.

Lowest temperatures of 13 to 18 degrees, in light to moderate north or northeast breezes.

SUNDAY, JULY 12

Dry with sunshine for most, though cloudier at times further north.

A few stray showers cannot be ruled out.

Highest temperatures reaching the low to mid-20s, with mostly moderate easterly winds developing.

WEEK AHEAD

The dry, sunny theme continues into next week, with Monday and Tuesday both largely dry.

Temperatures are set to climb further still, with the very warm to hot spell extending into Wednesday and Thursday, when some areas could see temperatures reach the low 30s.

Some thundery showers are possible before conditions ease back closer to average by next weekend.
