Gardaí investigating two alleged assaults in Mayo village

Gardaí have confirmed receiving a report of two alleged assaults outside a licensed premises in Mulranny last Sunday at around 10 p.m.

Two males, aged in their 20s and 60s, were brought to Mayo University Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has information that could assist the investigation, are asked to contact An Garda Síochána.

It is understood that two suspects left the scene following the incident.
