Public information clinic on north Mayo turbine delivery route set

Bord na Móna Powergen Ltd will hold a public information clinic on the proposed turbine delivery route for Oweninny Wind Farm Phase 3 next week.

Local senator Mark Duffy raised the issue on the floor of the Seanad earlier in the week after attending a public meeting.

The clinic takes place on Thursday, July 23, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Crossmolina Town Hall, Chapel Street, Crossmolina.

Members of the public can view project information and speak directly with the project team.

Proposed walking and cycling amenity works, environmental protection measures and construction timelines will be outlined.

The route forms part of the wider delivery works associated with Phase 3 of the Oweninny Wind Farm project.
