Cloud to clear as Mayo set for dry Thursday
Mayo is set for a mainly dry day tomorrow, with cloudy conditions giving way to increasing sunshine as the day progresses.
After a mostly overcast start, sunny spells are expected to develop through the afternoon and evening.
Temperatures will range from 16 to 20 degrees, with the coolest conditions along northern and northwestern coastal areas.
Light to moderate northerly breezes will keep conditions feeling fresh.
Looking ahead, settled weather is expected to continue through the remainder of the working week before becoming more changeable over the weekend.
While outbreaks of rain are forecast, rainfall amounts are expected to remain relatively light across most areas, with the west and north likely to see the greatest accumulations.
Thursday night will remain largely dry, with a mix of cloud and clear spells. Northern and northwestern parts of the county may see a few patches of light rain or drizzle.
Overnight temperatures will fall to between 10 and 14 degrees in light northwesterly winds, becoming westerly later.
