Exciting music project at Mayo venue

AN exciting music project is taking place at Loftys Bar & Music Venue in Westport.

Following the success of Lofty's Live '25, the venue is delighted to announce that Lofty's Live '26 is now underway.

Every Thursday, local musicians, singers and bands are invited to perform at the Lofty's Live Open Mic Nights for the chance to win a professional studio recording session, and an opportunity to feature on the upcoming community album, Lofty's Mix of '26.

A three-day mini festival - LoftyFest 26 - is taking place from July 31 to August 2, where musicians are encouraged to showcase their talents.

The aim is simple: to give local musicians a platform to perform, develop their music, and gain professional recording experience while celebrating the incredible musical talent we have here in Mayo and beyond.

Whether you're an experienced performer or someone who has never played in public before, everyone is welcome to come along and take part.
