Tuesday will be mostly cloudy, with scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle and only very limited sunny spells.
It will feel humid, with highest temperatures ranging from 17 degrees in the west up to 24 degrees inland.
Winds will be mostly moderate, occasionally fresh, from the southwest.
Rain will become more persistent in the north and west overnight into Wednesday, though it will stay mostly dry elsewhere.
Lowest temperatures will range from 12 to 16 degrees.
Wednesday will start cloudy before outbreaks of rain in the north and west clear southeastwards, giving way to sunny spells and drier conditions later.
Highest temperatures will reach 17 to 24 degrees, with light to moderate southwesterly winds veering westerly.
Thursday and Friday will bring a fresher mix of sunny spells and showers, heaviest in the north, with highest temperatures of 15 to 22 degrees.
Current indications point to a mostly dry bank holiday weekend, with temperatures in the high teens or low twenties.
