Get ready for Mayo HER Outdoors Week

TAKING place from August 10 to 16, HER Outdoors Week is an opportunity for the females of Ireland to escape to the outdoors and experience a new adventure with friends and family. Whether it be a dip in the water, a cycle in your favourite spot or a hike with friends, make sure to plan your experience and discover what your outdoors means to you.

HER Outdoors Week aims to get more women and girls to embrace the outdoors, try something new, and discover the joy, freedom, and community the outdoors offers.

The Mayo Sports Partnership schedule includes Hiking with your Phone in Achill; Buggy Buddies at Ballycroy National Park; Pétanque in ATU Castlebar; Teen Girls Aquafit and Women's Aquafit at Ballyhaunis outdoor pool; Women's SUP at Lough Lannagh, Castlebar; Mayo Park Run - seven locations Across Mayo; Come & Try Dragon Boat at Lough Lannagh, Castlebar; Outdoor Strength & Mobility at Cross Beach, Louisburgh; Forest Bathing in Raheen Woods; Ballinrobe pop-up pool (teen girls & women); and Achill Outdoors.

Through wonderful partnerships with local clubs, hubs and national governing bodies of sport, Mayo Sports Partnership have lots of exciting events and activities for you to choose from.
