Seating request for skate park in Mayo county town

A SHELTERED seating area is needed at the skate park in Castlebar.

The matter was brought to the attention of Councillor Donna Sheridan that the skate facility in Westport has a proper seating area for parents.

She has asked that a similar addition be looked at by the local municipal district for the skate park in the county town.

Councillor Sheridan was told the current budget would not cover this but the council will try to find a funding stream for a covered seating area.
