Gardaí issue traffic advice to those attending leading Mayo event

An Garda Siochana has offered the following information in relation to traffic management and safety for attending the Bonniconlon Agricultural Show today.

Traffic disruption is anticipated from all routes into the event, however, there will be a traffic management system in place (one way) which will ease congestion (same route as previous years).

No parking is permitted in Bonniconlon village but there will be ample parking around the show grounds (follow signage).

Shuttle Buses will be leaving from the Cathedral Ballina every hour from 9 a.m.

Please allow time for travel and follow the directions of gardaí and event stewards.

Provision will be made for drivers with disabled parking badges.
