Mayo cinema manager retires after four decades service

MAYO Movie World manager Pat Concannon has retired after 28 incredible years service at the Castlebar cinema.

Before joining Mayo Movie World, Pat worked and managed the County Cinema in Castlebar for 12 years, chalking up four decades of dedicated working in the local cinema industry.

In a tribute as they said goodbye and wished Pat well on his retirement, Mayo Movie World extended thanks to him for his dedication, hard work, leadership, and the countless memories he helped create over the years.

“Your passion and commitment have made a lasting impact on both managers, staff and the many guests who walked through our doors, over four million, during your leadership.

“You'll be greatly missed, but we wish you nothing but happiness, good health, and many wonderful adventures in your retirement. May this new chapter bring you all the time to relax, enjoy life, and make even more special memories with family and friends.”
