Have your say on future use of old Mayo pool site

CASTLEBAR Celtic is currently exploring the potential future development of the former Castlebar Swimming Pool site, located beside Celtic Park on John Moore Road.

As part of the pre-development work, they want to understand the needs, ideas and priorities of both the club and the wider Castlebar community.

A club and community consultation survey has been launched and they are reaching out to community groups and organisations across the Castlebar area to invite them and their members to take part.

While the project has the potential to provide much-needed facilities for Castlebar Celtic, the club is also keen to explore how the facility could potentially support community groups, organisations, young people, families and the wider community.

They want to hear what you feel Castlebar needs, what facilities would be valuable to your organisation and members, and what opportunities you see for the future use of the building.

The survey is open to everyone - you do not need to be a member of Castlebar Celtic to participate.

All are encouraged to take part as your feedback will help build a better understanding of community needs and ensure that, if the project progresses, the facility has the potential to deliver a meaningful benefit for Celtic and the wider Castlebar community.
