Mostly dry weekend for Mayo before rain returns

Saturday will stay mostly dry across Mayo. Limited sunny spells will develop through the day. Cloud will thicken again from the west in the evening.

Highest temperatures will reach 15 to 20 degrees. Winds will stay light and northwesterly.

Saturday night will remain dry for many, though cloud will spread in from the west with some patchy rain and drizzle. Lowest temperatures will fall to 10 to 14 degrees, with light variable breezes.

Sunday will turn mostly cloudy, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading eastwards. Mayo will see the coolest of the day's temperatures, ranging from 17 to 22 degrees. Winds will be light to moderate and south to southwesterly.

Sunday night will stay generally cloudy but mostly dry, with just patchy outbreaks of light rain and drizzle. Lowest temperatures will hold at a mild 13 to 17 degrees, with a light westerly breeze.
