Sunny spells and scattered showers for Mayo tomorrow

MAYO is set for a mixed day of sunny spells and scattered showers tomorrow, with temperatures reaching up to 18 degrees, according to Met Éireann.

The latest forecast says Thursday will bring “sunny spells and scattered showers once again”, with moderate to fresh northerly breezes, strongest along coastal areas.

Temperatures across the county are expected to range from around 15 to 18 degrees, while winds will have a noticeable northerly influence.

Met Éireann has issued a Yellow Marine Warning, with northwest to north winds expected to reach force 6 at times along Irish coasts from midnight until 6pm tomorrow.

The outlook for Thursday night is for clear spells and scattered showers, mainly affecting the north and west, with temperatures falling to between 7 and 11 degrees.

Met Éireann's forecast indicates that showers will continue into Friday before conditions become largely dry for the weekend, with Saturday expected to be mostly dry with sunny spells.
