Fond tributes to 'kind' Mayo woman Margaret Dunne
The death of Margaret Dunne (née O’Brien), Windsor, Castlebar, and late of Rockfield, Turlough, is widely mourned.
She died suddenly after a short illness in University Hospital Galway, surrounded by her family.
Predeceased by her husband Tom (TP Dunne), she is deeply regretted by her loving family: Maria, Dominic, Tom and Bernie, sisters Anne Kelly (Ballyhaunis), Linda McGreal (Turlough) and Ellie Leneghan (Ballyhaunis), grandchildren Lisa (Boyle), Keith, Thomas, Aaron, Gary, Darragh Dunne, Sarah and Sandra, great- grandchildren Mia, Ryan and Adam, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Deepest sympathy is extended to the bereaved family on their loss.
Fond tributes are being paid to her on social media.
"Such a lovely, kind and friendly lady," one stated.
"She was an amazing lady," another said.
Margaret will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, this evening (Monday) from 6 p.m. with removal at 7.30pm to her residence.
Removal from her residence on Tuesday morning at 10.30 a.m for Requiem Mass at 11a.m. in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar, followed by burial afterwards in Parke Cemetery.
