Warm and mostly dry in Mayo tomorrow with odd shower
MAYO is set for a warm and largely settled day tomorrow, Thursday, with sunny spells and just the odd shower expected across the county.
The latest forecast from Met Éireann indicates that Thursday will begin dry in many areas.
While rain will affect southern and eastern parts of the country, Mayo and other western and northwestern counties are expected to remain drier, with sunny spells developing.
There is still the chance of an isolated thundery shower, particularly later in the day, but most of the county should escape the heavier rain forecast further south and east.
Temperatures will be warm for late August, reaching around 22 degrees in Mayo, with light northeast or variable winds.
The unsettled pattern is expected to continue into Friday, with a mixture of bright spells and showers forecast across the country.
