Mayo footballers to take centre stage at Amgen Irish Open
All-Ireland champions will share the spotlight with some of the biggest names in world golf at the Amgen Irish Open next month.
The tournament brings together two of Ireland's biggest sporting passions.
Rory McIlroy, Shane Lowry and Jon Rahm headline the field at Doonbeg. GAA fans will also get the chance to meet this year's All-Ireland champions, with heroes of the 2026 championships taking to the main stage at the island of Ireland's national open.
Winners from all four codes - football, hurling, ladies football and camogie — will make special appearances.
They will bring the Sam Maguire, Liam McCarthy, O'Duffy and Brendan Martin Cups to the main stage, meeting supporters and taking part in live question-and-answer sessions.
The 2026 Amgen Irish Open runs from Wednesday, September 9 to Sunday, September 13 at Trump International Golf Links Ireland in Doonbeg, Co. Clare. The GAA champions add an extra sporting dimension to the week.
