New eco toilets installed at popular Mayo tourist destination

NEW eco toilets have been installed at Downpatrick Head in north Mayo.

The toilets - there are two of them - are located in the car park at the popular tourist destination.

Councillor Michael Loftus has welcomed the installation of the new toilets, describing them as 'a welcome addition that will enhance the visitor experience at one of Mayo's most spectacular destinations'.

Councillor Loftus extended thanks to the tourism section of Mayo County Council for their excellent work and commitment in enhancing facilities for visitors, and to the outdoor staff for their hard work and dedication in installing the two eco toilets.
