Details confirmed for Mayo GAA championships semi-finals

The dates and venues have been confirmed for the semi-finals of the Mayo senior and intermediate football championships.

In the senior campaign, Castlebar Mitchels face Breaffy at Charlestown at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 3.

The meeting of Garrymore and Belmullet has been fixed for Sunday, October 4, in Ballina at 1 p.m.

The relegation final involving Ballaghaderreen and Ballina is fixed for Ballyhaunis on Sunday, September 27, at 12 noon.

At intermediate level, Moy Davitts take on Ballinrobe in Garrymore on Saturday, October 3, at 7.30 p.m.

Davitts play Kiltane or Islandeady on Sunday, October 4, at a venue and time to be confirmed.

The Kiltane v Islandeady game, postposed due to a bereavement, goes ahead next weekend.

Meanwhile, the intermediate relegation play-off between Louisburgh and Cill Chomain is pencilled in for Sunday, September 27, in Foxford at 12 noon.
