National Broadband Plan connection now available in Crossmolina area

NATIONAL Broadband Ireland (NBI) has announced that Crossmolina and the surrounding areas has now been connected to high-speed fibre broadband.

NBI’s connection of the Crossmolina area means that 1,462 homes and businesses can now access high-speed fibre broadband. This includes the rural surrounds and townlands of Crossmolina, Lahardane and Letterbrick.

The completion of works near Crossmolina means that 33,655 premises that can now pre-order or order high-speed, reliable broadband across Mayo, with 7,444 connections made to date. Works have already been completed in much of the rural areas across the county including Ballinrobe, Belclare and Belmullet.

National Broadband Ireland is encouraging all Mayo residents to visit nbi.ie and check their Eircode to see if they’re ready to connect and find out more about placing an order.
