Funeral arrangements for Mayo man who died in Bahrain

The funeral arrangements have been announced for Seamus Patrick McDonnell, formerly of Straide, Foxford, who died in Juffair, Bahrain, earlier this month.

He will be sadly missed by all his family, especially Mary, Laura, and Hannah, Anthony, Sean and Martin, his sisters and brothers in-laws, nieces and nephews and his good friends and colleagues from across the world, to whom sympathy is tendered.

Seamus was predeceased by his parents Patrick and Kate McDonnell, daughter Karen McDonnell, brother Michael McDonnell and sister-in-law Marie McDonnell.

The bereaved family has extended special thanks and gratitude to Blesilda who cared and looked after him throughout his illness.

Seamus will lie in repose at Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar, tomorrow (Tuesday) from 5.30 to 7 p.m..

Funeral will arrive at Shannon Crematorium on Wednesday for service at 2.00pm.
