Personally-signed jerseys of Mayo GAA stars up for auction in Chicago fundraiser

Cairde Mayo Chicago is holding a special fundraising auction as part of its celebrations of the Mayo senior football squad's All-Ireland success last July.

The main attraction are personally-signed jerseys of each member of the triumphant squad.

Bids of $1,000 have been received for the jerseys of goalkeeper Jack Livingstone and Cillian O'Connor, the latter of whom recently announced his retirement.

Members of the squad and management team are guests at 'homecoming' celebration in the Ramova Theatre, Chicago, on Friday night next. Admission is $100.

The Sam Maguire Cup will hold pride of place at the event hosted by Cairde Mayo Chicago in association with the Irish American Partnership.

It is an official Mayo GAA fundraiser.
