Mayo set to welcome spell of sunshine this weekend
The county is set to enjoy a brighter and largely dry Friday, with plenty of sunshine forecast as the recent spell of wet and windy weather gives way to more settled conditions.
According to the latest Met Éireann forecast, tomorrow, Friday, October 16, will bring sunny spells and scattered showers, with the showers most widespread during the morning, particularly across western and northern counties.

Friday night is expected to be largely dry and clear, although temperatures will fall considerably, with overnight lows of between 1 and 5 degrees nationally.
Looking ahead to the weekend, Saturday is forecast to bring another largely dry day with sunny spells, although northwestern areas could experience the odd stray shower.
