Mayo club celebrating official opening of new athletics track

SWINFORD Athletics Club is celebrating a milestone in its history with the official opening of its new athletics track.

The official opening will take place on Friday, November 6, at 6 p.m. at the track.

All club members and the wider community are invited to celebrate this special event in the club's history after years of fundraising, determination and community spirit to realise this super facility.

The club, which has achieved much success at local, national and international level, will be celebrating its heroes, past and present, on the evening, while inspiring the younger generation of athletics.
