Three Mayo groups vying for Pride of Place Awards

Three nominated groups are representing Mayo at tonight's 2026 Pride of Place Awards Ceremony in Dublin.

Mayo County Council has nominated three outstanding community groups this year:

• Clogher Environmental Group CLG in the Population 300-1000 Category 2

• Ballina Autism Friendly Town (BAFT) in the Inclusive Communities Category 9

• Foxford Alzheimer’s Community Trust (FACT) in the Age Friendly Communities Category 12.
