Work starts on new Mayo playground

WORK has commenced on the new playground at the Durkan Bohola Community Park.

The milestone has been achieved through fundraising, hard work, and incredible community support.

Last year's Lip Sync Battle fundraiser, which raised €25,000, was a huge step towards making the long-awaited dream a reality.

Bohola Community Park, in an update on its social media, extended thanks to everyone who supported the fundraising efforts, stating: “This is a fantastic milestone for our community, and we can’t wait to watch the playground take shape and see the joy it will bring to our children and families for years to come.”
