11 Mayo businesses shortlisted for prestigious Good Food Ireland 20th anniversary awards

Eleven Mayo business have been selected as finalists in the prestigious Good Food Ireland 20th Anniversary Awards 2026.

Celebrating 20 years of recognising excellence in Irish food, drink, hospitality and culinary tourism, the awards shine a spotlight on the outstanding businesses, producers and people who champion local Irish produce and help make Ireland a world-class food and tourism destination.

Co. Mayo is proudly represented among this year's finalists in the following categories:

Ashford Castle Estate - 5 Star Irish Hospitality Experience of the Year, Sustainable Culinary Tourism Award.

The Lodge at Ashford Castle - Culinary Haven of the Year

Breaffy House Resort - 4 Star Irish Hospitality Experience of the Year.

An Port Mór - Restaurant Experience of the Year.

Kelly's Kitchen - Café Restaurant Experience of the Year.

The Tavern Bar & Restaurant - Pub Experience of the Year.

Kelly's of Newport - Irish Food Retail Experience of the Year, Meat Producer.

Croagh Patrick Seafoods - Irish Culinary Tourism Experience Award, Fish & Seafood Producer.

Calvey's Achill Mountain Lamb - Sustainable Irish Food & Drink Producer of the Year, Meat Producer.

Achill Island Sea Salt - Sweet & Savoury Producer.

Croagh Patrick Seafoods - Signature Lunch Experience, Irish Culinary Tourism Innovation Award.

These nominations are a fantastic endorsement of the quality, passion and dedication of the people behind Co. Mayo’s food, drink and hospitality sector, recognising their contribution not only to the local economy but also to Ireland's growing reputation as a leading food tourism destination.

The winners will be announced a ceremony at the InterContinental Dublin on Monday, November 16, in association with FBD Insurance.
