Central Mayo community launching new action plan

A NEW community action plan for Belcarra is being launched this month.

Developed through the ideas, input and aspirations of the local community, the Belcarra Area Renewed Action Plan 2026-2031 sets out a shared vision for the future of Belcarra over the next five years.

Belcarra Community Council and Mayo Community Futures will host the plan's launch on Sunday, November 8, in Belcarra Community Centre, with Minister Dara Calleary on hand to perform the official launch.

The village map and the official opening of the new canopy will also take place on the day.

The celebrations take place from 12 noon to 2 p.m. and all are welcome.
