Mayo to enjoy another dry and sunny day as settled weather continues

MAYO is set for another largely dry day on Wednesday, November 4, with sunny spells expected after a chilly start to the morning.

Met Éireann is forecasting a bright day across the county, with any early frost and fog gradually clearing through the morning and into the early afternoon.

Once conditions improve, there should be plenty of sunshine, although a few isolated light showers cannot be ruled out, particularly elsewhere across the country.

Temperatures are expected to reach highs of between 9 and 12 degrees, with light to moderate easterly winds making conditions feel a little cooler.

Overnight temperatures will fall to between 0 and 6 degrees nationally, with further frost possible under clear skies.

Some isolated patches of mist and fog may also develop, particularly in western areas.

High pressure is expected to remain in control for the rest of the week, bringing largely settled and predominantly dry conditions to Mayo.

Thursday will bring further sunny spells, although there will be more cloud around and a few scattered showers are possible.

Temperatures will again reach between 9 and 12 degrees.
