Temporary one-way system for east Mayo town

A TEMPORARY one-way traffic system will operate in Kiltimagh for three weeks, Mayo County Council has announced.

The system takes effect from 10am on Monday next, November 9, and remains in place until 10am on Monday, November 30.

It applies to two streets:

R322 James Street will flow west only.

R323 Thomas Street will flow east only.

Clear directional signage will be in place.

Motorists are asked to obey all traffic management signs and drive with care while road users adapt to the new layout.

The notice was issued by Mayo County Council on its social media channels.
