AUTHOR Sally Rooney is to be feted with a civic reception in Castlebar, her native town.
The 27-year-old has taken the publishing world by storm with two bestsellers, all in the space of 18 months.
Recently she earned a place on the Man Booker longlist for her second novel, Normal People.
Her first book, Conversations with Friends, has also been a bestseller.
