Inaugural Blacknight Digital Marketing Mayo Awards
DIGITAL Marketing Mayo have announced that the inaugural Blacknight Digital Marketing Mayo Awards 2019 will take place in Knockranny House Hotel on October 30 at 7 p.m.
The aim of the awards is to recognise excellence in digital marketing from organisations across the county. The awards cover multiple areas of an ever-evolving sector which includes social media, videography, blogging, websites, digital marketing campaigns, and showcasing Co. Mayo itself.
Announcing the awards, Áine Mc Manamon, co-founder and current chair of DMM, said: “Digital Marketing Mayo want to acknowledge the many businesses around the county who are doing a fantastic job at marketing their business using various digital platforms while also wishing to attract and help those businesses keep up with digital marketing trends.
“These awards will showcase the high level of talent in Mayo and at the same time we hope to show other businesses that digital marketing is something that can be done by anyone, anywhere.”
Mayo businesses have the chance to be crowned county champions in seven different digital marketing categories:
• Best Social Media
• Best Blog
• Best Videography
• Best Website
• Best Use of Digital Marketing to showcase Mayo
• Best Use of Digital Marketing by a Small Company
• Best Use of Digital Marketing by a Large Company

Applications and nominations are now open for all categories and entries can be made through the DMM website at www.digitalmarketingmayo.com/awards. Entries close on Monday, October 7, at 5 p.m.
