Neil Delamere, the Fresh Prince.

Its the fresh prince of delamere

FOR a romantic date with a difference, why not plan a night out for you and your loved one to the Royal Theatre, Castlebar, on St. Valentine's Day next year (February 14, 2015) to see top Irish stand-up comedian Neil Delamere.

The Offaly comedian - described by The Scotsman as 'a master' on foot of his Edinburgh Fringe Festival shows - is coming to the Royal Theatre with his new tour, The Fresh Prince of Delamere, on the most romantic day of the year.

Commenting on The Fresh Prince of Delamere show and tour, Neil said: 'It's another show full of new tales of mischief and mayhem. Apart from the usual audience interaction, it hopefully casts an acerbic eye over some of my recent adventures. Free tips include honeymoon etiquette, appropriate machine gun usage and how to get €400 cash out of a petrol station owner.'

A star of television as well as stage, Neil can be seen on TV screens later this month in the 10th season of the ever-popular panel show The Blame Game on BBC and in the forthcoming four-part comedy documentary series Holding Out for A Hero, which airs in December on RTÉ2.

Holding Out for A Hero, which is written and presented by Neil, offers a wry and humourous look at the lives of four Irish heroes from history: Grace O’Malley/Granuaile, Red Hugh O’Donnell, Cú Chulainn and Fionn Mac Cumhaill. It follows in the footsteps of the IFTA and Celtic Media Award-winning TV programmes on the Vikings and St. Patrick, also written and presented by Delamere.
